I suggest you try one of the free teeth whitening kits offer you buy online they will only charge you the shipping. after you get the kit start using it, after only a few days you will see a difference so just stop at this point. this way no one will notice right away. after a while apply it again and stop. in that way you will get nice white teeth after a longer period but no one will notice as it will be in steps. what would be the best teeth whitening system strip brand to use? Target or Walmart brand, which is about $15.0 or Rembrandt or Crest Classic which is $20.00. what have you used and what do you recommended? im thinking Crest Classic. is that good or are the store brands just as good?

Just brush reguarly. Anything else will make your teeth really sensitive and won’t be able to eat anything at an extreme temperature. (ie coffee, ice cream)

I tried the crest white strips but after about an hour of using one, my teeth started to hurt really bad and i think it is because it was wearing away my enamel. But does teeth bleaching do the same? Or is it worst?

no, it doesn’t wear down the enamel it just opens up the "pores" of the the enamel called enamel rods. So air and stuff makes your teeth more sensitive. You could try using a sensitivity toothpaste while you are bleaching. Only bleach for an hour, that is when you’ll get the most benefit of the bleaching and hopefully decreasing the time you have the bleach on your teeth will reduce the sensitivity. Good Luck. The sensitivity will get better or go away but the beautiful white results won’t, so it’s worth the temporary nuisance.

i have several cavities that are filled with the dark black resin which is pretty embarrassing. When I went to a dental school for a checkup i requested them to change the fillings to a white colored resin…they said it is possible but the cavities appeared too deep to fill with the white colored resin…is there something i can do? is there a different kind of resin that you can fill deeper cavities which are colored white?

yes you can do this but they rantt as strong as the silver filings so they will crack and you will need to rebond them often……. like once a year. I have this done on mine for 20 years. once in awhile i get lucky and they last for years.

try crest whitestrips. i used them last february and the results are just starting to fade. the only downside is a little bit of tooth sensitivity, other than that they work really well and are a steal at just 25 dollars.

ANYWAY! I’m not sure how much it cost me to get my teeth whitened because a relative paid for it. I just recommend NOT going to the booths you find in places like malls to get them done. The sores I developed below my gums was because the solution was not rinsed properly or sat on the gums for too long before getting it rinsed. I personally don’t care, it’ll go away after a bit. I REALLY NEED MY ROOTS DONE. I know I’m getting them done on Monday, but I still hate looking in the mirror and seeing 1/2 dark hair against platinum. DRIVES. ME. INSANE.
