I’ve never used any teeth whitening products and I’d like to remove some stains from my teeth. So which one/ones works the best? What is the effect of bleaching your teeth (like with PlusWhite) while you have gingivitis?
it can worsen gingivitis because teeth whitening chemicals cause gum inflammation even if you have no gum problems in the first place.
before you go for any "beauty" enhancement procedure, i would highly suggest basic dental care such as oral prophylaxis. for what is the point of whitening your teeth if you neglect their supporting structures. i know of people who regularly use whitening solutions and yet neglect their decayed teeth which need restoration. i really cannot comprehend this.

I can say that most of my patient’s have had some measure of success with the Crest Whitestrips, some more than others. Our office uses the Supreme which are 4 times stronger than what you can get in the store, but the others will work as well but take more time and possibly more than one kit. I am also hearing that patients like the Aquafresh whitening trays ( http://www.aquafresh.com/whitetrays/…… ). The results are usually pretty quick, noticeable in the first few days, best in a week or longer.If you can, do yourself the favor of using them right after you get your teeth cleaned as any staining and buildup (tartar, plaque, or orthodontic cement) will impede their ability to work. Also, don’t use fluoride toothpaste before putting the strips on (same reason). All of the methods (strips, trays, custom trays, in office whitening) have the potential to make your teeth temporarily sensitive, but will not harm the enamel. If you get sensitive use the product every other day in conjunction with a sensitive tooth toothpaste. You might try to drink dark liquids through a straw and don’t smoke. Most whitening toothpastes just remove stain on the surfaces of your teeth and therefore are not so effective. Whatever method you use it will not whiten your teeth for life, as you age your teeth will get darker and may need to be whitened again.

I am looking for a cheap and fast way to whiten my teeth for a wedding in two weeks. I have been reading alot about hydrogen peroxide and baking soda and what not. I have slightly crooked teeth and so i dont think the white strips will work that well with my teeth. Has anyone used the hydrogen peroxide for whitening teeth, what was the recipe and how often do i use it. Also, how quickly did your teeth start whitening?

Well sometimes it has to due with its "function"
nothing special, some have mouthwash strips, some help to whitening your teeth, some have different flavor so on nothing special.
FYI : you are only supposed to use a pea drop of toothpaste to brush you teeth what really helps your teeth is the way you brush not the paste you use. The toothpaste is like a little extra for your teeth.
Its like perfume you can use it but if you dont bath. What good does it really make?
